Simply put, a shielded cable is a cable with a shielding layer. The shielding layer refers to the wire wrapped around the conductor with the shielding layer.
The wrapped conductor is called a shielding layer, which is usually a copper mesh woven shielding layer, but there are also aluminum foil or copper foil shielding layers.
The main function of the shielding layer is to prevent the signal from interfering with the conductor, because when the conductor is interfered with, the loss of the transmitted signal will increase.
The principle of shielded cable
As mentioned above, shielded cable is a common unshielded cable with a metal shielding layer added, which uses the reflection, absorption and skin effect of the metal shielding layer to prevent electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic radiation. The shielding system of RVSP shielded cable adopts the principle of twisted pair balance and shielding, and has very good electromagnetic compatibility characteristics.
