Comparison between yellow and black plastic earplugs<\/p>\n
The functional layer of DNP black glue, PEN and PPa layer, is composed of different materials. After being soaked in electrolyte, the interface is increasingly debonded and peeled off. In the black glue PPa layer, there are three different melting point materials, black pigment: 66\u2103, PE 105\u2103, PP 167\u2103, which makes the interface more unstable.<\/p>\n
The functional layer of the yellow glue polarity itself has a melting point of more than 300\u00b0C, which makes it easier to operate during heat sealing. The intermediate functional layer uses a non-woven fiber layer to replace the original polyethylene glycol naphthyl ester. The interface fusion effect is better than black glue, but it still cannot solve the problem of complete fusion between different substances. Due to the process reasons of the yellow glue PPa layer, it will become hard and lose elasticity after heat sealing. When encapsulating the battery and post-processing (converting to nickel, adding plates), the plate glue and metal sheets will be easily broken, causing the battery to leak and gas expansion.<\/p>\n
Comparison of yellow glue and white glue soldering pads<\/p>\n
White glue is made of three layers of PP materials with different functions. The heat sealing temperature of the functional layer is wide, 165~167\u2103, slightly lower than the battery packaging temperature (180~220\u2103), which can effectively prevent short circuits on the cut surface, increase the operating temperature range of battery packaging, and improve the yield rate of battery production.<\/p>\n
Due to the use of PP layer technology, the yellow rubber ear will become extremely hard and lose its elasticity after heat sealing. During battery packaging and subsequent processing (nickel conversion, plate adding), the rubber and metal of the rubber ear will break, causing battery leakage and gas expansion. The white rubber ear can still maintain high elasticity after heat sealing because the three functional layers are made of the same material (PP type).<\/p>\n
