Lithium-ion powerBattery Tab<\/a>As the name suggests, it is a tab used on a power battery, which has very large specifications in terms of size and current throughput.<\/p>\n

Tabs are a component of soft-pack lithium-ion battery products. Batteries are divided into positive and negative electrodes, and tabs are metal conductors that lead out from the positive and negative electrodes of the battery cell. Commonly known as the positive and negative electrodes of the battery, they are the contact points during charging and discharging. The positive electrode of the battery is made of aluminum, and the negative electrode is made of nickel. The negative electrode is also made of copper-plated nickel and consists of two parts: a film and a metal strip.<\/p>\n

The tab includes a tab metal strip, one end of which is connected to the tab in a packaging bag composed of an aluminum-plastic packaging film, and the other end extends to the outside of the packaging bag opening. A section of the tab metal strip at the packaging bag opening is covered by a thin film polymer composite material, and a layer of liquid glue is also coated at the junction of the tab metal strip, the polymer composite material and the packaging bag. The liquid glue can be coated on the outside of the packaging bag opening or inside the packaging bag, or the liquid glue is cured to form a cured film.<\/p>\n

Characteristics of battery tabs<\/p>\n

1. Aiming at the mechanism of inflation and leakage of the rod core, the surface of the developed metal strip has a special corrosion-resistant coating, and the imported CPP adhesive and the CPP layer on the inside of the aluminum film have good heat-sealing properties, which effectively solves the problem of inflation and leakage of the rod.<\/p>\n

2. It has good resistance to electrolyte and hydrofluoric acid.<\/p>\n

3. Good adhesion to metal surfaces and aluminum-plastic films.<\/p>\n

4. The insulating layer has a high melting point, which can effectively prevent short circuit with aluminum-plastic film and aluminum foil.<\/p>\n
