Het afschermen van de kabel zonder de connector af te schermen, is slechts de helft van het werk. Zonder een vergelijkbare afscherming van de connector zal uw kabelassemblage geen maximale EMI-dekking bereiken. Met andere woorden, tenzij beide componenten adequaat beschermd zijn, profiteert u niet van de voordelen van afscherming.<\/p>
2. Er zijn twee hoofdtypen kabelafscherming waaruit u kunt kiezen.<\/p>
Hoewel er verschillende soorten afscherming bestaan, zoals combinatie- of spiraalafscherming, zijn folie en gevlochten afscherming de twee meest voorkomende. Beide hebben specifieke voor- en nadelen die zorgvuldige overweging vereisen.<\/p>
Folie-afscherming bestaat uit een dunne laag koper of aluminium die om een kabel of connector wordt gewikkeld. Dit type afscherming is lichtgewicht, biedt 100%-dekking voor hoge frequenties en is relatief goedkoop te produceren. Folie-afscherming is echter ook erg kwetsbaar, wat de buigzaamheid en mechanische sterkte beperkt.<\/p>
Gevlochten afscherming bestaat uit een strak, kruislings patroon van dunne tin- of koperdraden die om een kabel of connector gewikkeld zijn. Dit type afscherming is sterk, flexibel en effectief op alle frequentieniveaus (vooral lage frequenties). Gevlochten afscherming garandeert echter geen volledige dekking en is omvangrijk, waardoor het duurder is om te produceren en ongeschikt voor krappe ruimtes.<\/p>
3. De effectiviteit van afgeschermde kabel hangt van drie factoren af:<\/p>
Type en dikte van het afschermingsmateriaal.<\/p>
Zitten er openingen in het schild (bijvoorbeeld kleine gaatjes in de vlecht)?<\/p>
De effectiviteit van de lijmverbinding met de grond.<\/p>
Door de gevlochten afscherming te overlappen met de folie-afscherming kunt u de dekking vergroten en bescherming bieden tegen externe interferentie.
